Mr. Dart Pagent 2011!!

Last night was Davis Highs Mr. Dart Pageant. Spencer was chosen to be in it and represent Davis Pride. We were just so excited that he was going to be in it and how much fun he was going to have. He had been working on his talent all week and he got an escort (Chloe) and my mom bought him a new spiffy shirt. We were all excited.


We got there early to get a good seat. We got out tickets and Voted for Spencer. We found some seats and just waited for all the excitement. The first thing that they to is the "Best Leg" Contest.




Then after that was a group dance number. Spencer was the best dancer on stage :) (Video to come or look on Facebook)


Then they did a short introduction of each contestant. Spencer did the Carlton dance. :) He does it so well. Love it!


Then they moved into the Talent portion. Now some of them were impressive and some were so painful. There were two Spencer’s and when the other Spencer was getting ready to do his talent they switched the microphones by accident and My Spencer was Goofing off with his song and we could hear it and it did not sound so good. But they quickly got it fixed and My Spencer recovered nicely in his performance.


Spencer and Nils preformed for his talent. Nils played the guitar and Spencer sang. He sang "the itsy bitsy spider and popcorn popping" by John Bytheway. It was really good and super cute. Nils did a great job playing and I am pretty sure half of the screams from the audience was for Nils! My favorite was the girl in front of us when she saw Nils screamed "he's from Sweden" I laughed so hard. Then came the "Evening Wear and question portion" Spencer and Chloe looked so awesome! He answered his question with ease, eloquence, and a sense of humor. He really answered the best!

Next and Last was the announcement of who won! There were 4 people to win. Mr. Congeniality (most votes with tickets there) 2nd attendant, 1st attendant, and Mr. Dart. They each won some sort of a prize with tickets to Boondocks, and other items. As they were announcing it was fun to see who won. In all honesty we were not expecting Spencer to win. We were just excited for him to be in it. We knew that he was awesome enough to win but ya know. So we were Super Surprised when they announced the Winner was SPENCER JONES!!! Yeah! (You can see my excitement in the video when I start jumping and screaming and it goes all over the place!)
