Shooting

On Monday my Dad and brothers came up and we went with Logan and Brooke and their friend shooting. We went up providence canyon and found a nice place. It was a journey getting up there. We all piled in Logan's truck and headed up. There was so much fresh snow that we did get stuck a few times but it was nothing a little pushing and shoveling could not fix. Logan has a few different kinds of guns and I could not tell you all the names. i think one was a shotgun, a pistol, and some gun that looked like the military would have.

Me, Skyler and Nils had never even touched a real gun before let alone shot one. So Logan was super patient and explained everything. We all took turns shooting the clay things and with the other guns. I don't think that i hit a single one. Skyler did really good and hit some things that no one else could. Nils did great also. But I think Logan kicked all of our butts.

I was scared but it was fun. I don't think I could ever really shoot anything. I would aim and then close my eyes so i did not really matter if I aimed. lol :) oh well, It was a fun and beautiful day.

Dinner & a Movie

Saturday Me and my roommates did dinner and a movie. After I got off work Brooke and Emma met me at Rumbi Island Grill.

I had a buy one get one free coupon and so we went and split a few things. Oh man, I love this place! It is so so yummy. I was so excited when Logan got one:)

Then we went over to a red box and got a movie. We got the movie "Takers".

It had Paul Walker in it so I was OK. :) (oh i love his eyes) so we started watching it and oh man.. one of the WORST movies ever! it was a mixture of Ocean 11 and Italian Job, but there was no real story plot or character development. They even tried to pull off the Italian job Truck through the road thing but failed. You could not tell who was good or bad they were all bad. So please don't waste a dollar on this movie.

Then on Monday we ordered pizza and watched the old parent trap that was on TV. Great Times!

Skyler's Trip to the Capital

Skyler and his class and the other 4Th graders at Burton Elem. had the opportunity to go to the state capital and meet and sing for the Governor. :)

Skyler was able to ask the Governor a question and he asked if he liked being the Governor. all the adults chuckled and so did the Governor and he replied with sometimes. :)

They sang the "Utah" song and everyone said they sounded great.

My mom had Skyler wear Spencer's suspenders to break up all the black he was wearing and he felt cool in them and everyone thought he looked cool in them.
The reason why they were able to go is Julie Fisher was getting a law passed to change where the date is located on the Utah State flag. apparently it has been in the wrong spot for a hundred years. The law passed and got signed yesterday and Julie picked the 4Th graders to go and sing. :)
I am glad that he had a good time and had this opportunity. :)

Skyler's Birthday

Sunday was Skyler's birthday.
On Friday Skyler had a few friends come over and they went to the movies and saw Mega mind
an they got treats and then they came home and at pizza and played. He had a blast!

On Saturday Me, Skyler, Mom, and Dad went to the movies and saw Harry Potter 7 at Kaysville Theater. then we just chilled and watched babies and had fun.

On Sunday we went to church and then after we went up to Johnson's and Dr. Johnson had a bonding moment realizing he was the one to deliver him. then we had a huge family dinner with everyone there and then after what felt like forever to Skyler he could open his presents. :) He enjoyed it. He is so so cute and I love him to death! Happy Birthday Skyler!!!

His face when he opened his Lego's :)

Skyler!!!

So my Skyler turned 10! It is so crazy that he is 10 already. I remember when he was born. which totally makes me sound old but i am getting there( plus i was 16 when he was born) Back then I am not going to lie I was not too excited when he was born. It felt like life was going to end and the worst part is that people thought he was mine. But once i got over that life was great. I Love that kid so much and would not trade him for anything in the world.
Here are a few pictures of us together....

Babies

Oh I can not even explain how much I love these Babies!!! I have blogged about them before.. but I can't help it. They are so so stinkin' cute. My mom and I (and the rest of the family) got to babysit them last Saturday. they were so so good. and it was so cute to see my dad, Skyler and DJ helping out. We never realized before that Skyler has never really been able to be around and help with babies, so he did not really know anything but he was really eager to learn. If you ask him it was just OK but i think he really liked it.
Those babies are my angel and my handsome man. and they truly make me happy.

Blessed!

So I had a really bad day on Sunday. It was one of those days where you feel the whole world is coming to an end. There was a lot of crying and eating of chocolate. But the best thing about that day is to realize how truly blessed I am .
I am Blessed with:
Wonderful Parents
Great Roommates
Wonderful Friends
A great RS President
A Wonderful Bishop
A temple close by
A Job with wonderful CO Workers
A Heavenly Father who Loves me

and much much more.

This list above saved me and my day and put things back into perspective and turned my day right around.

I am truly Grateful!

Booted

On Tuesday I had got back to Logan a little after eight and went downstairs and visited with my neighbor for a little while and then went back upstairs to start putting my stuff away and hope to warm up. As i was doing so my neighbor Karl came over and said that his car would not start and needed to go to the store and if i could take him. I really did not want to go back out so i just gave Karl my keys and said just don't wreck it. So Karl went to the store and came back and gave me my keys and said the he did not wreck it. :) we talked for a min and then he left. Then a little while later i get a text from

Brett another neighbor and it said " Shiree.. where did you park?"

I responded with "not sure why?" Cause i was not sure where Karl had parked my car.

Brett" Well there is a car that looks like yours that has been booted."

Oh man my mind went crazy I grabbed my coat and ran over to Karl's and asked him where he parked my car and told him about the texts. So he showed me and..... IT was my car that got BOOTED!

I was ready to cry! The note on my car said that it was going to cost me $75.00 to get it off. I do not have that and i am sure that Karl did not either. But he was a great guy and still offered to pay for it since he did park it there. He said that he only had 50 on him and I told him i could come up with the 15. I called the number and talked to the people and they said that since I actually lived there it was only $25.00. So Karl paid it and i got my car unbooted.

Crazy! I am just grateful that Brett told me so that I did not find out at 8:15 when I had to be to work by 8:30.

Hallmark Movies

My family loves Halmark Sunday! Every few months on CBS they play a Halmark movies on sunday nights. We get together all in jammies and mom pops popcorn, and gives us lots of goodies and we scrunch on the couch all curled up with blankets and a BOX of TISSUES and we watch the movie.

They are so so good. they are about good things and don't have bad stuff in it like language and nudity. They generally make us Cry and Cry but we don't mind.

This last sunday there was one. It was called "The Lost Valentine" It had Jennifer Love Hewitt, Betty White and Sean Faris. It is a great love story. I just loved it so so much.

The Next Hallmark Sunday is April 24th! Put it on your calanders. :) It should be good.

Kaysville Theater With Dad

I love the Kaysville Theater! It is such a great place and a great deal. On Friday me and daddy went to the movies. We went and saw Unstoppable. Dad had seen it before but it was my first time. I had kind of seen previews for it and thought it looked good. Well I have to say that I LOVED IT! it is so Suspenseful. Holy COW! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. When it was over all I could say was HOLY CRAP! I was still processing it. It does have some language but it is good.

I was Glad that dad and I could go and see it. I love spending time with dad!

Skyler and Basketball

Skyler is playing Jr Dart basketball this year and dad is his coach. I was able to go to his game on Saturday. He did so good. His team one and it was so fun to see him play. Love ya Bud. Keep up the great work.
