We have had our dog Indy for a very long time (14-15 yrs) we got here as a puppy from the pound and have love her so much! She was such a great dog! She was so cute and playful, good with kids and love to eat : waffles with syrup, BBQ potato chips, dads corn and tomatoes in the garden and the apricots that fell off the tree. she love to chase cats and catch birds and run from one side of the house to the other. we have a permeate Indy trail in our back yard.
the past few weeks she has been sluggish and not eating very well and sleeping all the time. we hoped and thought that it would just go away and she would get back to normal. the past few nights she would come and greet us as we came home from fireworks. well on Tuesday she had a really bad day and i guess she was pretty sick and so she was put to sleep. :(
we have all really had a hard time with this. there has been lots of tears. she was part of our family. we are all going to miss her and it is going to be hard to not have her around.
