Water Skiing

On August 31st we got to go water skiing as a family and it was a blast! It was the perfect day to go. we had the place to ourselves and the weather was great. I am so grateful for Bro. Hall who takes us. He is an amazing man and a lot of fun. he is so good about helping everyone get up on waterskis and I think his favorite thing is death tubing.:) yes i almost died once... lol JK I have a ton of pictures but here are a few favorites of everyone.

At the first of the school year higher powers in the church made some changes with the USU student wards. they changed the boundries, names of ward, stakes and a bunch of other stuff. Last year and over the summer I was part of the USU 3rd ward. we genereally had a pretty big ward and a lot of people came. over the summer we had 120ish people that came on a regular basis and was one of the only wards in my stake that did not have to combine over the summer. and then the change.... we now are the Logan YSA 41st ward and as of last week we now have 350 people in my ward and it grows each week. We now have 2 Relief societies and 2 Elders Quaroms. there are a lot of fun people that i am trying to meet. So my roommate Lindsey is the FHE Grandma and we were doing ward FHE cause we did not have parents yet and she came up with this super fun idea. I loved it. we played Twist and Stash, aka twister with fake mustaches. :) there were other games there also. I ended up making 160 cookies and lindsey and i made 2 cookie sheets of brownies for the treats. it was super fun. so here are some pictures of that night.:)

Best Roommates Ever!!!

I am almost willing to bet anyone that I have the Best Roommates Ever!!! Lindsey and Emma are two of my roommates and they are the bestest! This last week has been a very crazy week with a lot of random things that happen. I had a few rough days and each time one or both of them were there to help me or make me feel better.

we get along so great! one of my favorite memories that I wish I could of froze in time was on wednesday. now i have to do a little back story..... Sunday we were at home and did not really want to go to ward prayer but decided that it was the right thing to do. so we go and generally we play a game and so they had us put our names on sticky sheets. girls on pink and boys on blue. (i should have known someting fishy was going to happen....and i kind of did but i still did it... next time i will follow my gut.) well what the deal with the names is that they picked a girl and a boy and they had to go out for an "ice cream social" that week. And my name got picked. I got to go to ice cream with a kid in my ward named Spike. he picked me up and we went to aggie ice cream. we ate and talked and it was a lot of fun. he is a super nice guy and easy to talk to. my favorite thing is that he thought that i was 21 years old. it took everything i had not to die of laughter when i saw the look on his face when i told him that i turned 26 in a week.
so when i was getting ready for my "ice cream social" lindsey was getting ready too. she had a date with curtis.(I love her and curtis together... they are the cutest couple ever) so we had fun making sure what matched and looked good. I ended getting home before Lindsey and curtis and when i did Emma was watching here favorit tv show of all time..America's Funniest Videos... but she muted it and was so sweet in asking me about my date aks ice cream social. it was fun to tell her. then i went into my room and when lindsey came home she came in and sat on my bed and we talked about our dates and then emma came in and we just chatted and laughed. It was the best night ever!!
Then on Friday i was a mess. it was a combination of things but lindsey came in and she just listend to me and let me cry and we tried on shoes and she just made everthing better.
I found out on sunday that emma is an angel. Oh i just love her.

I am truly grateful for my roommates and i know that my Heavenly Father put me with them for a reason and I am so so thankful!

Beauty & the Beast

I got a coupon for $10.00 off the Blue-ray/DVD combo and I could not pass this up. I was at Wal-mart getting some Halloween decorations...(which is a completly different story) and as I look at the movie so many memories from my past came up.

For those of you who truly know me I am a Cinderella fan. I think I became a fan when my Uncle Allen gave me the nickname "Cindy" becaue I was helping my cousins do there chores so that we could play. :) the nick name stuck for a while and then I was a cinderella fan. I got to go to disneyland all three years of highshool and i have a picture of me with Cinderella each time. I would wait paitently with the 5 year old girls and get my picture. :)

As I went home and Watched Beauty & the Beast the flood of memories came back to me and I used to be a huge Belle fan. I Remember when I turned 8 I had a beauty and the beast party and i remember getting a belle pillow. I also love all the music and that it said my name in the movie.

Well I am enjoying my movies and memories. i just wish i had a blueray in order to see all the special features but its ok i will surrive. :)
